What Product & UX teams get from a review

Six findings we look for, and the design task behind each.

Each card names a pattern and a change your team can evaluate.

Review the applicable scope and recheck after every release.

From screen to design task

One finding, three steps for your team.

Step 1 · Observed

The screen, marked

The fee first appears at payment.

Step 2 · Design task

A change to evaluate

Step 3 · Recheck

After your release

The same screen, checked again and saved with the finding.

Check it yourself

Four checks your product team can run today.

Practical notes to use with your own team. None of this is needed before a walkthrough.

Review the decision point

A price can be somewhere in the flow and still be hard to find when it matters. Capture the offer, the terms and the agreement button together, as the customer sees them.

Keep design and live evidence apart

A design file shows what is planned. The live flow shows what customers get, including mobile layouts and later steps. Note which one you looked at.

Write a change that can be checked

“Make pricing clear” leaves the team guessing. “Show £24/month beside the £9 first month” can be built and checked.

Define what the recheck should show

Note the screen, the device and what a reviewer should see after release. A design suggestion alone is not a recheck.
