What Legal & Compliance teams get from a review

Six findings we look for, and the evidence record behind each.

Each card names a pattern and a change your team can evaluate.

It is unclear whether a rule applies.

Change

State the open question and the missing evidence.

A fix shipped without a recheck.

Change

Compare the release with the original finding.

Review the applicable scope and recheck after every release.

From screen to evidence record

One finding, three steps for your team.

Step 1 · Observed

The screen, marked

The decision point with screenshot, date and market.

A charge appears after the first price.

Step 2 · Evidence record

A change to evaluate

What should move, and why. Your team decides how.

Record where each charge first appears.

Step 3 · Recheck

After your release

The same screen, checked again and saved with the finding.

Compare the update after every release.

The rules in your market

One method, the rules of your market.

Check it yourself

Four checks your legal team can run today.

Practical notes to use with your own team. None of this is needed before a walkthrough.

Keep the source beside the interpretation

Note where each screen came from: a public page, a signed-in account or a supplied record. A screenshot shows that state, not every variant or contract term.

Separate observation and assessment

Record what was shown first, then the rule it may touch. A section reference or a status label does not replace the analysis of whether the rule applies.

Test the assumptions

The same screen can call for a different answer depending on the contract and the customer. Note exceptions, and keep a credible counterargument in the record.

Ask for the missing fact

A help page can point to cancellation without showing the steps. Keep the question open until an authorised path or suitable records can be reviewed. “Needs evidence” means open, not resolved.
